So when asked Doc Scott jumped at the chance of putting together a mix of some of his favorite Certificate 18 tunes. The last time we heard a Doc Scott mix live on CD was on the classic Mixmag cover mount. It is a special pleasure to bring you his very own Certificate 18 "Parental Guidance mix" - over 60 minutes of classics, presented in such a way that only Scotty knows how. A testament to his unrivalled talent.

The album contains 27 tunes and demonstrates how Certificate 18¹s sound has moved on. Not content with being restricted to dancefloor friendly 12" releases only, Klute, Teebee, Lexis and Polar have all gone on to release their own albums on Certificate 18, enabling them to cross manipulate genres of sound, and taking it to the next level from early Certificate 18 pioneers such as Photek and Source Direct.

Reflecting over the duration of the album we can see how the sound swings from one style to another, bending formulaic perceptions of this musical genre, in and out of dirty breakbeats, moving basslines and filmic scapes of sound.
