Another sensational outing from the ‘grand daddy’ of Certificate
18, KLUTE’s last release was the massive ‘Faceless’, which kept
the likes of Fabio, Groverider, Doc Scott and Frost busy on the
decks, and led DJ Magazine to comment : ‘the sort of consistent
sound logic from the far future you’ve come to demand from this
hugely underrated composer.’
Here are two
more selections guaranteed to do the same and more!!
Drive down once again proves KLUTE’s commitment to firing breakbeats
and general dancefloor mayhem.
Eerie dromes, busy breaks and a sound menacing wood block bass are
the fuel for this moody stepper. The bubbling wash of analogic FX
increase the pace further.
We r the ones is more sci-fi soundscapes and analogue architecture
with distant breaks sliding into a bouncing cut-up break and funky
bass groove. The bleep tones and subtle drops add to the punching
impact and subterranean groove.
Currently enjoying dub plate exposure from Bailey, Loxy and the
Metalheadz family, KLUTE is poised to further his reputation for
masterly production and Drum’n’bass musicianship.
Watch out for the 2nd album of the legendary KLUTE, scheduled for
May 2000 on Certificate 18 Records!
